stopping to notice

Miranda announced the creation of her wonderful new podcast, Stopping to Notice on Twitter with a competition to design the cover artwork, and of course I jumped at the opportunity.

Continuing the illustration style from her book, The Year I Stopped to Notice, I wanted to create a strong visual link whilst bringing personality and fun into the illustration, evident in her acute observations.

It wasn’t a winner, but apparently it did come close!
