Mama Paints Brand Redesign

Mum of two, Kate, is an artist who started painting as a means to find peace after post-natal depression. She was looking for a brand to help increase her online sales and boost her social media presence.

Taking inspiration from the birth flowers featured in the original logo, representing the birth of Kate's two sons, this brand refresh uses a flower symbol to reflect the birth and growth element of the brand story. The icon is modern and sleek, whilst the use of pink maintains the femininity at the heart of the brand. The fluidity of the signature style evokes the motion of painting without being overtly painted - helping Mama Paints to stand out from her competitors in local craft markets and online. 

 

A Brand Style guide and assets were developed in order to give Kate the tools to create her own social media content in order to consistently and successfully promote her business online.
