Maryland Concept
As part of a team at Brand Opus, we created concepts to modernise and bring meaning to the much-loved biscuit brand. My concept was intended to bring to life the exciting world of Maryland.
The logotype evokes a playful world of fun complete with cookie-like ferris wheel. The typography style and colouring were kept close to the original design, but crafted to instil the energy and positivity of the world of Maryland. On pack, the cookies were placed in playful situations or games, their variant denoted on signage. A textured effect and matte substrate was intended to pull the brand away from the artificial look it had previously.
My role was in creating and developing this concept, which unfortunately wasn't developed further.
