distracted
For my own Substack newsletter, Distracted, I wanted to create a look and feel that both conveyed the chaos of motherhood and was easy to maintain despite the chaos of motherhood.
I wanted to create individual illustrations for each weekly newsletter (as well as write them!) but I knew that if it was too complicated I wouldn’t be able to keep it up, so it had to be simple. These quick and unedited illustrations are placed on a standard background in an ownable colour palette to create a unified look and feel.
